The Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), also called Mangalyaan

The Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), also called Mangalyaan is a space probe orbiting Mars since 24 September 2014. 

But there are some proud moment attached to this mission,

1.) It is the first nation to reach Mars orbit, and the first nation in the world to do so in its first attempt.

 2.)Mars Orbiter Mission is built with a cost of Rs. 454 crores that is around Rupees.4 per Indian which is Rupees. 12 per kilometer. It is the cheapest Mars mission, ever!

 3.)The Mars Orbiter Mission team won US-based National Space Society's 2015 Space Pioneer Award in the science and engineering category. NSS said the award was given as the Indian agency successfully executed a Mars mission in its first attempt

 4.)Only 14 minutes for a signal to reach Mars!
When M O M sends any data, it will take around 14 minutes for it to reach ISRO’s communication panels.
